The argument between John James and Rachael wasn't as bad as everyone was making out. Watched it on HL show, Rachael obviously wanted to get a rise out of John. Ok his comment about what she may do for money was not good but as for being disrespectful to women as some people in the house and on here have said I don't believe it.
I think he treats men and women the same and doesn't 'sugar coat' what he thinks when it's a woman he's got a problem with. That's why people misinterpret his views.
It's unfortunate for him that his problem with Corin was weaved into the situation because she relished making situation worse and then BB let the show end with her speech in the diary room and that will finish him off.

Why do people think John James has the right to point out what he perceives as other people's faults? He was possitively gleeful when he came back from the massage and told everyone how he almost made Rachael cry. How is that endearing?

I think this is really harsh, as if she is the only one who went on that show for fame, money and magazine deals? She was the only one that was honest about it from the start and said she wanted to do this kind of thing. What do you think the others are there for? The experience alone? Thats just naive. They will all grab whatever opportunities they can from this and who can blame them?

The only one I can't figure out is JJ1, I genuinly don't think he is in there for money. Fame possibly?

I think JJ1 was really insulting to Rachael in the argument though, it was really uncalled for. I am a JJ1 fan as well I think he has a really nice, sweet side to him, but the other side is just.... nasty! I really wish I could work him out.

I suspect there may have been more to that conversation than was shown on the highlights.

On what was actually shown then John James didn't really say anything that wasn't true.

One of his beefs with Rachael in the house was that he said she was the sort of girl who would do anything for fame and get a topless shoot as soon as she left the house.

She got very hoity toity and denied it and said he was disgusting for suggesting it.

He was right.

Whether he actually needed to say that stuff to her after the event is a different matter. But it's interesting that when other people say things which are harsh but true, they are: "Saying it like it is".

A lot of these comments are very similar to Johns take on it ... he said he'd love to see the tape because he thinks it will probably be quite funny and not as bad as he had first imagined (after he realised Nathan had been the other side of the mirror)
I saw the whole thing on LF, yes Racheal stuck up for herself but then she also made attempts to diffuse the tone .. John (yawn, again) wouldn't let it go. He kept taking low shots at her.
Anyway, he'll be happy when people tell him how he 'got it right' with Rachael ... it will give him the confidence to do it again to some other poor girl!

Remembering that JJ1 isn't at all a favourite of mine here's how I read between the lines (biased BB edits) with their wee sesh together....

I honestly believe that he didn't pick her for the task so he could rip into her - at most he probably expected some banter between them. I reckon her and Nathan have wound each other up so much about how JJ1 was instrumental in them both leaving the house that she would have been seething with him. So from the moment he entered the room he got a massive bad vibe off her and no matter what he said she would have been $hitty with him. Remember she said that it was BB's initial intentions for her to get massaged by him but the thought was so *abhorrent to her that she made BB switch the roles - even though there would still be physical contact between them - not too bright eh Rach . Faced with this unexpected bad attitude and because of how childish and stubborn he is JJ1 just let the situation get away from him and he said stuff that he regretted.

I would put money on the fact that if we were shown the moment when he came through the door he would have been smiling and she would have been stood there arms folded and with that "like duh" face on that he took the piss out of so much when she was in the house. BB didn't show that moment for some reason and yet they showed us the first moments between Corin and Nathan and Mario and Ben.

*If it was so damn horrible for her to touch him as she indicated then it probably would have been better for her just not to participate with the task at all but as JJ1 rudely pointed out she would do anything for her 15 minutes of fame.... even sleep with Nathan ... which in a way backs up that horrid thing he said.

This is how i view the exchange as well. He actually had a choice and said her due to her short time in the house. He seemed ok until she said that she did the Nuts thing because "someone" had told her not to. His attitude changed then and got even worse when she indicated she didnt want him touching her.
Personally i think he does have no respect for women in general, but when you then add into the ingredient a BB wannabee like Rachael....15mins of fame....tits out deal....count the dosh....then its bound to kick off.

But if he is prepared to say derogatory things to people, then he should have the balls to back it up and not wimp out as he did. Pathetic.

well said shine. The editing was so against JJ as i agree that he would have gone in with good intentions but her ****ty look would have ruined all those intentions. and yes he said stuff he shouldnt have but he isn't that bright and just got carried away. Rachael is a nasty piece of work.

She never had to say she swapped roles with the massaging thing. She said it to wind him up which it did. It's an absolute disgrace how BB are so biased on the HL.
