CELEBRITY Big Brother lovebirds Chantelle and Preston are planning to get married.

The smitten pair are secretly making plans to tie the knot next January.

Their ideal date, according to a close pal, is January 5 – exactly a year after they first met on the reality telly show. And the friend said they even plan to ask housemate pal Traci Bingham to be bridesmaid.

Chantelle’s dad, Alan Houghton, 53, hopes to be filled in about his daughter’s plans today.

The Essex cabbie, kept in the dark about Chantelle going in the Celeb BB house, said last night: “She’s coming round to see me tomorrow to tell me all her news...I’ll know more after that!”

But word has already leaked to the Daily Star Sunday.

A close pal said: “You know how they jokingly talked about getting married when they were on the show?

“Well now things have progressed a bit further! “They’ve decided they want to spend the rest of their lives with each another.

“They’re soulmates, best friends and now want to be a married couple too.

“Chantelle didn’t need much persuading when Preston asked her. It’s so exciting.”

The friend added: “I think deep downeveryoneknew they’d get together. Some people might have said they were doing it to try and win.

“But the truth is they actually did fall in love on the show.”

The pal added that it would be the “most romantic thing” if they could tie the knot on the anniversary of the day they first set eyes on each other.

Although Preston, 24, was going out with French babe Camille Aznar and Chantelle, 22, had a boyfriend Ricci Golding at the time, the pair secretly lusted after one another.

Just days into the show, they confessed it had gone further than lust – and they were in love.

Fears

Ordinary Boys frontman Preston gushed: “I love you, Chantelle, I really do” to which the blonde babe replied: “I love you too.”

If that wasn’t bad enough for their partners watching the show Preston declared: “Chantelle, if I didn’t have a girlfriend, I’d marry you in a minute.”

To which she responded: “And I’d marry you, too.”

Both Camille, 25, and Ricci, 22, were given their marching orders once Chantelle and Preston had left the house.

Devastated Camille said last week: “I had this sinking feeling that everything was going to change.

“As it turned out my fears were confirmed. It’s very upsetting.”

Chantelle and Preston had to spend a few agonising days apart last week after he flew to Japan with his band.

But Chantelle missed him so much she flew out so she could be with him.

Their pal also revealed that the couple are already making plans for their big wedding day.

And Traci Bingham is being talked about as a possible bridesmaid. The young lovers, who

have set up home together in a cosy love nest in London’s trendy Hoxton Square, both became close to the big-boobed former Baywatch babe during the show.

Their pal said: “They both got on really well with Traci and would like her to feature in their plans.

“I suspect George Galloway won’t be on the guest list, though!”

Yesterday Preston accompanied Chantelle on her trip to Sky’s Soccer AM studio.

She said: “I’m absolutely loving my life at the moment.”

I always read these stories with a cynical eye.

If its true, good for them. She was asked about marriage to Preston on Richard and Judy the other day, but was non-committal.
