Katie Price joins other newly announced names Marcus Brigstocke, ex-EastEnder Joe Swash and Waterloo Road actor Philip Martin Brown in the BBC1 show Let's Dance For Comic Relief, in which stars tackle famous dance routines.

The charity dance spectacular, which returns for a third time this month, is being hosted by One Show presenter Alex Jones and her former flame Steve Jones.

Previously announced names for this year's series include The Mighty Boosh comic Noel Fielding, Lulu and ex-GMTV host Penny Smith.

Over three weeks, Let's Dance will see the acts pay homage to and perform some of the world's most famous dance routines in front of a live studio audience.

The stars will battle it out to wow viewers with their moves, and secure a place in the grand final.

This year's Let's Dance, which kicks off on February 19, will highlight the issue of malaria.

That sort of show is not my cup of tea but I'm sure millions will watch it .....
