What was the best Godfather movie? And which actor was your favorite don: Marlon Brando (Vito Corleone), Robert De Niro (younger Vito Corleone), or Al Pacino (Michael)?

Locke.

The first one is amazing, the second one is also amazing but just not quite on par with the first, and the third one is good but nowhere near the first 2.. And Pacino probably gives the best performance, but James Caan was quality as Sonny.

I'm split between Part 1 and 2. I think Part 1 had more of an organic feel to it like it was more of a real story about a family that developed naturally but part 2 feels more epic since it has more locations and covers more time.

The first one is Amazing and is probably my favourite but i love how they fit in the background of Vito Corleone in the second film, didn't really like the third film wasn't anywhere near on Par with the first two.

Brando's, naturally, the best don but the rest of I's cast is superb, especially Pacino, Caan and Duvall .....

Nothing in excess

I liked Part II the most as it is far more morally ambiguous and really digs into the darker side of the family.
