I've seen Get Real and the acting's a bit naff but the story's cute. And so is the main character's love interest Oh and the main's best friend (the fat girl with the red convertible) is one of the fiercest characters of all time.

but if you're going to get a gayfilm get 2006's "Glue" (well it's technically a bifilm but meh)
