Which of these characters would you get rid of from the soap, if you could. The list isn't the entire cast obv, cos there's too many, but I've tried to include all the ones I've seen mentioned as annoying

Liberty - Is probably famous for the most cringey scenes HO have had. Plus she's only there to kick start her music career, hate that.

Jono and Callum definitely. Never seen such wooden actors. Most of the rest of the "student" lot too. There hasn't been anybody of substance that has been brought in of late. I kind of like Barney though. He can be quite funny.

I don't know what the point of Ricky is either at the moment. He's just an extra basically.

Jono, Neil - Too many teenagers, they're just pointless as they've not had any good storylines

Rob - All he is is Annalise's sh*t ex-boyfriend, and he plus he looks like a fake Gilly

Shocked and appauled that Theresa, Leanne, Callum, George and Tilly are on the list, I really enjoy watching them. Ste is part of the furniture too.

yeah, I included everyone really who I've seen people say they don't like for various reasons, some say Ste has become a caricature, he's not as good an actor as he used to be but then again to be fair, it could be the storylines he is given? Leanne has grown on me, she has good comedy potential but they don't use her enough. George is great, not fussed on Tilly or Callum.

I'm fed up with them all being bisexual or "suddenly" discovering their homosexuality in their mid 20s. It's not that common is it?

yes, true. It's plot led, when I prefer it character led, sometimes they have a character change their whole personality overnight just for a plot. Silly really.

That's precisely it. Which is why (looking at your avatar I shouldn't say this. lol) I've never been able to adjust to any new characters since Brendan came into it. Ste had a transformation because the actor decided to come out as gay and they seem to have had an obsession with these stories ever since Craig and John Paul, and then Sarah and Zoe etc etc.

I don't think they've explored a run of the mill coming of age story that didn't involve sudden homosexuality, teen pregnancy, STD or pedophilia. lol
It may not seem as dramatic but it can still be interesting.

It was believable with Brendan, but they've gone mad lately Doug being gay is totally ridiculous.

Come on. It is only a few characters that have same sex feelings (repressed or not). There's only Ste, Doug, Tilly, Esther, Brendan, George, Texas, Jodie.....Not like it's common at all.

He might be. He has been spending a lot of time with Ste lately and he may have mistaken the closeness of their friendship for something else. He looked pretty comfortable when they kissed though. Maybe he has repressed his feelings in the past. I am sure we will get to see over the next few weeks.
