Big Brother bosses are planning to involve celebrities in the next series of the iconic reality TV show.

The show's senior task producer revealed that the new series, which starts next week on Channel 5, revealed that bosses were pleased with the reaction to Pamela Anderson's guest appearances on the show last year.

He told Digital Spy that BB chiefs are planning a variety of challenges for the new intake of housemates.

Ben is quoted as saying: "Everybody likes to see celebrities in the house, and we may have a few more in the house this summer."

Riley revealed that the housemates will not have a lot of time to sunbathe and chill in the reality TV house.

He explained: "It's going to be a fun packed and incredibly busy task year, we've got tasks every day.

"This year it's going to be different to the usual big costume tasks, it's going to be a little bit cleverer with a few more twist and turns for the housemates."

He added: "We've got some really brilliant ones to come."

I don't like celebrity guests, they should bring back no contact with the outside world, it's one of the points of the show.

The less money they spend on celebrities, breaking one of their own rules, the more they have for a live feed (I know Channel 5 say it had nothing to do with the cost, but there were rumours, which Jamie East seemed to back up in an interview during CBB9, that it was Endemol that said they shouldn't have one, because they said it lost them money during BB11).

Pamela Anderson was an utter waste of time, money and added no entertainment to it.. But yes everyone loves to see their meaningless little visits, best part of the show.
