Default Comedian Jimmy Carr 'has £3.3m in Jersey tax avoidance scheme'

[The comedian is alleged to be the largest beneficiary of the K2 tax scheme, which protects £168m a year from the taxman in Jersey.
According to a special investigation by the Times newspaper, thousands of high earners in Britain use the scheme to carefully do their accounting “under the radar”.
It claims an accountant disclosed Mr Carr had sheltered £3.3m a year through the company.
Lawyers for the comedian have confirmed he is a member of K2, but categorically denied any wrongdoing, saying the scheme had been disclosed to the relevant authorities in line with the law.]

K2 legal scam
He has clever Lawyers.

The plush double-fronted three-storey
property that Carr bought with cash

But no wonder he is on so many Ch4 shows
to help pay the Electric Bill.

"The PM's extraordinary broadside came as it emerged Carr paid cash for an £8.5million house in one of London's most fashionable areas.
The TV personality, whose street credibility has nose-dived since his tax affairs were disclosed this week, did not need a mortgage to buy the plush double-fronted three-storey property boasting eight bedrooms."

That's no different to a CEO of a utilities though taking our money to pay for their lavish houses - difference being, you can refuse to buy Jimmy Carr tickets, it's a bit more difficult to do that when it's water, gas or electricity.

If you ask me - the Prime Ministers comments smack of jealousy

The PM was responding to the Times Front Page
he had no choice.

Carr was Picked on due to his Piss Take of the Banks
on his Ch4 show.

And on Question Time last night
they confirmed that.

He went into Ch4 studios
to record 8 Out of 10 Cats a 50mins show
for 10PM tomorrow on Ch4HD

And his latest tweet is good
saying "I Dish it Out
I hope i can take it"

So tomorrows broadcast
is worth recording

[Jon Richardson, Jimmy Carr's co-star
on Channel 4 show 8 Out of 10 Cats
wrote: 'Off to record 8 Out Of 10 Cats.
Always difficult in a quiet news week.' ]

To be fair, he's not alone in this - Gary Barlow for one uses a similar scheme.

But I think the Government should look at these huge corporations, such as "Top Shop" and "Vodafone" etc etc - who don't pay tax.

They should also remember that M.P.'s are not the most honest bunch, quite sticky fingered when it comes to expenses

I have to say I was quite disgusted when I read that Danny Alexander referred to Jimmy Carr as "being as good as a benefit cheat" - I mean, really?

When it comes to politics, and politicians - I don't swing any way, they're all as bad as each other

I've not voted for over 20yrs - and yes, I do get some women who look at me disapprovingly, muttering under their breath about what women went through for freedom and for my right to vote.

Well, I'm very grateful and all - but have you forgotten about my freedom? I have the free choice as to whether I want to vote or not too!

Exactly, well done jimmy, if its good enough for big business and bankers its good enough for you
If such a scheme exists you would have to be incredibly stupid not to take advantage. Cameron is a hypocrite calling jim morally corrupt for doing what all his 'mates' have been doing for generations!
