BIG BROTHER winner Kate Lawler is head-over-heels in love with hunky housemate Spencer Smith.

Their secret was revealed when budding DJ Kate made her radio debut.

The 22-year-old babe couldn't bear to be apart from "Spanky" Spencer when she stood in for DJ Steve Penk on the Capital FM Network - and brought him along.

The pair could not keep their hands off each other throughout the late-night show.

They held hands, canoodled and giggled together as Kate played slushy love songs.


Fame

Big Bro's £70,000 winner let listeners know Spencer had joined her.

The former ski shop assistant took calls from fans asking how he was enjoying the fame he gained from the Channel 4 show.

When the pair left the London radio station just after 1am yesterday they hopped into a waiting car and sped to a hotel.

A show source said: 'we had no idea Spencer was coming.

"They kept giggling like lovestruck school kids and we saw them holding hands and whispering to one another. Kate kept blushing - I think Spencer was making suggestive remarks to her away from the microphones.

"It was obvious they couldn't bear to be apart. Kate is signed up to host Steve's show all week and is doing a fantastic job.

"It was her debut as a DJ and she's natural. She's very talented. But it didn't go un-noticed that she played a lot of love songs. She obviously has Spanky on her mind."

The blonde kick-boxer from Kent and Spencer - who got his cheeky nickname from house-mate Sunita - are planning an exotic holiday together.

A pal said: "They want time away together. Both of their lives have been in a whirl since Big Brother. "They're both very busy and don't get a lot of time to themselves so they need a break away from it all."

Kate and babe magnet Spencer, from Cambridge, fell for each other within days of meeting in the Big Brother house, flirting constantly. Kate admitted: "Spencer's well fit. He's the kind of bloke I go for."

Their passion hit the skids when Spencer was evicted but contestant PJ Ellis has suggested the couple got intimate in the house.

PJ declared: "Spencer told me he'd become a member of the 'Feed The Goat' club with Kate."

Last night a friend said: "Spencer's going to break a million girls’ hearts - but he and Kate are an item now."

THE Big Brother love affair seems to still be going strong.
Winner KATE LAWLER is presenting a late-night show on London’s Capital FM this week and former housemate SPENCER SMITH sat in with her on her first show on Sunday.

He arrived at 11pm and stayed with Kate until she finished at 1am.

A station source tells me: “Spencer’s supposed to be a bit of a ladies’ man but he waited until the early hours for Kate and gave her moral support.

They were very cosy together between songs.”
