That is an exceprt from an embargoed, leaked Endemol press release detailing that esteemed politician/actor/musician/model Adam Rickitt will be entering the Big Brother house in a few weeks? What do you think abou this, is this a good idea, to have a nice twist for a change, or a bad one? Please back up your opinions.

He had a starring role in Coronation Street for many years, had a chart topping single and album, and has launched a successful political career. He is more of a celebrity than Jodie Marsh for example.

Jodie Marsh has not earned her celebrity status. Adam Rickitt is multi-talented, and has earned his. This is not a thread to discuss the merits of Adam. Please refrain from this. If you want to talk about Adam's merits, please go to the General section. This is a thread to discuss whether you approve with Big Brother selecting Adam to enter the BB house.

You might want to take a look at what I posted earlier, since you obviously overlooked it:

Don't put us off by going on about Adam constantly. Firstly we don't even know if it's true and we want a bit of a nice surprise if possible...

By going through all this talk, my 'other' option would be: Not bothered.

I see the usual suspects of doubters and nay-sayers are out in force, despite the clear evidence of both Adam's status and the embargoed press release.

Sometimes I doubt people would either believe or remember it if they were to see the Loch Ness Monster swimming up the Thames into the center of London itself!
