I was wondering when they was gonna do this, did both acts struggle so badly in the votes last week that they are trying to drum up interest for them by giving them a showmance?

Absolutely, but he's in a boy band, he has much better looking girls throwing themselves at him, and he's three years older than Ella, it's not like she's the first girl he's ever laid eyes on, he's an adult and he had a life before X Factor, let's not pretend like this is his innocent first love.
