It's that time of the year again to start a new ratings thread as the launch date should be released later today when the schedule is out. Here we will discuss the ratings across the entire series and make comparisons to previous years.
We won't know until later what competition it faces, but if we are to believe that it launches on the 13th June. Here are the overnight ratings of the last two regular series: BB12- 2.6m BB13- 2.7m I reckon it could reach 3m with the new presenter, ad campaign and changes. Let's not forget that CBB11 finished with 3.61m officially. How do you think it will rate? Up or down on BB12-BB13? Down on CBB11 launch? |

Couldn't this have waited till the schedules are out later? We can't predict anything with any accuracy without knowing what it's up against, so the first two pages are just going to be the usual tedious blind guesses based on nothing.

It's no big deal, just makes finding post-schedule predictions (with everyone making two, three if the schedule changes) and the first set of ratings later in the series a pain in the arse.

Well considering it's only competition of the night is the premiere of Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model, it should get high ratings. I doubt that the majority of BB fans are also B&INTM fans too (although I am a fan of both) so it should get a strong viewing figure for Launch Night.

BB12- 1.6m CBB9- 2.6m BB13- 1.8m CBB10- 2.3m CBB11- 2.8m BB14- ?? (if it gets a 3m launch, I predict around 1.9-2.1m official). Basically CBB11 was the best rated on Ch5 even though CBB8 also got 2.8m, BUT the launch figure for CBB8 bumped the average. So in terms of officials excl launch, CBB11 was the most popular. Good sign for BB14? |

Both Miranda and Mrs Brown's Boys are repeats. Not sure how they rate for repeats, don't pay attention to shows I don't watch.

Hm, repeats might be a bit safer but I'm like you, I'm not really sure how the repeats rate although I've heard they can pull in a solid and respectable number. I don't know, might not be a risk worth taking.

I hope they make the live feed an hour too. BOTS has finished at 00:15 and 00:30 before (and so have other shows, or even later) pushing the start of SuperCasino further back, so it'd be nice if they could extend the streaming and start SuperCasino at 00:30, or even better...01:00.
I'm happy we've at least got some on launch night though. |

Should point out these are only the provisional schedules, finalised ones aren't decided till tomorrow lunch time. If C5 deem Friday unsafe they'll probably move it to Thursday, which has much ****ter competition, with only Russell Howard's Good News being new and for a similar audience.
