According to a post in DS, it's been confirmed (I cba looking for proof)

Every week they will announce the 3 (at least) housemates that will face the public vote by going live during the last part of highlights show on Monday, they will then be freezing the vote every Wednesday at midday and the housemate(s) with fewest votes will be saved, this will also be revealed to the house by going live during the last part of the highlights show, exactly like they did with sallie, gina and dexter

This is so ****ing stupid and unneeded

I don't really have a problem with that but i'm not sure exactly how it'll work if there's more than three people up.
Will everyone apart from the two with the most votes be removed from the voting on Wednesday ?

I don't know but I presume just one will be saved, but who knows with channel 5

If this had been used whilst Vote To Save was in play, it would be a genius move.

But with VTE it just means the dullards will get saved on Wednesday and think they're popular with the public.

(also, what happens when there's more than 3 up? Is only 1 still saved on Wednesday or will the ones with the least votes be safe and the 2 with the most votes will still be nominated?)

The freezing of the votes is pathetic, they stopped doing the who had topped the votes in vote to save last series.
Now they are freezing the votes and one housemate is saved, thereby revealing who is more popular with the public to the remaining housemates.

Unnecessary and stupid in my view, I wish they wouldn't mess about with nominations and evictions.

This is really stupid. They're just letting the housemates know who is more popular and it's obviously gonna affect future nominations.

After 7 series C5 STILL haven't found a formula that works, fair enough they want to distinguish their BB from C4 BB but every series they change things stupidly, it's so amateur. Like last series when they decided to do countdowns before evictions, and even this series putting a horrible LIVE graphic on live feed for no reason a few days into the show..

The formats dead, its that simple. These current changes are basically failed attempts at life support. A final consisting of Sophie, The twins, Callum, Daley and Charlie will be the final nail in civilian BB's grave.

Maybe that's what they want,or at least don't mind happening, and then only concentrate on the celebrity BB.

It used to be two people up, the most hated out of the two would leave, Big Brother are now giving you an opportunity to vote out somebody with the third highest nominations.

(Usually the people with the third highest nominations are tied with several others with 2 or 3 nominations each, meaning more evictions with 5+ people will be happening.)

You can argue that you'd rather keep the lines open non-stop until Friday and miss the extra 15 minutes of live entertainment (which would make the show more boring) or you can realise that now the game is more open and gives you an opportunity to vote somebody who otherwise would not be up at all.

This must be the moaniest forum in the world.

I would quite like VTS up until Wednesday then VTE from then to Friday. Makes sense.
Youre saving somebody on Wednesday and evicting somebody on Friday.
