It would be hard to be friends with Dexter in the house, because he is so game oriented, that you would never know what he will do. It's why most can't warm to him in there

That is why it comes across as fake. It's just not who he is.

Dexter was not his friend, he already knew Dexter was saying things behind his back before he nominated him. He nominated someone who he couldnt trust.
