From BigBlagger For this week's shopping task, the housemates will become DJs and run Big Brother FM.

On the first day (Tuesday 8 August), they must prepare their radio shows and each of them must record a jingle in the Diary Room.

Each housemate will be doing one 15 minute radio broadcast each. They can choose the type of show they do from a list supplied by Big Brother. The radio shows will feature special guests (fellow housemates), phone-ins (from the housemates) and songs.

On Day Two, the housemates will start broadcasting. They must broadcast continuously for 90 minutes.

In a unique twist, this week's shopping budget is in the hands of the general public who will be judging the task when they download the podcasts on the BB website, www.channel4.com/bigbrother. They will then be able to vote whether the housemates should pass or fail the task on the basis of listening to the podcasts, which will be available online from tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday 8 August). Voting is free and the full broadcast will be made available on www.channel4radio.com on Wednesday.

If the housemates pass the task, they will receive a luxury shopping budget for their week in the house. Chickpeas or chocolate? You decide!

The tasks have been pretty crap this year they have passed nearly every one and even the ones they've failed they have been rewarded for other things to make life easy on them.
