Everyone has different tastes and what appeals to one person does not appeal to another... but rather than discussing what kind of music you like; what qualities do you appreciate in your favourite musicians? Do you like instrumental-heavy music? Do you like good visuals? Do you appreciate harmonies? Genius lyrics? A good personality? Do you prefer it to be about the music, with the people behind it taking the backseat, or do you like your bands/groups/artists to be prominent personalities? Do you like when they are in the media or do you prefer them to be mysterious and keep away from it? Do you like choreography?

Innovation and character (within the music, not themselves) are probably the two most important things for me.

I'd love to say I avoid music where the artist has a ****ty personality, but I really can't.

I think 9 times out of ten it's me that's got the problem It has to appeal to me at that time, but often I can be distracted by things, or not in the mood for a certain genre...
