In another of their heated relationship conversations Dexter said he would happily marry Charlie and have artificial insemination with her.

This would mean he can't have children unaided. Well this would explain the thing he was trying to tell her secretly last week and his bits do seem to be very small.

Dropping it into a conversation like this at such a late stage in the show must mean he wants the public to know and the only reason for that is he wants sympathy votes.

As a PR person (allegedly) I think he could have played the entire game better with this Pièce de résistance up his sleeve.

If he is a Public Relations man he needs not to air someone's personal life in this way and that goes for Charlie's mother too.

Also he seems not to be aware that Charlie is not interested in him sexually, she has said there is no attraction that way so why is he talking about having babies with her?

Jackie spoke about this in the heated argument with another hm (Jemima?) very early on.

It was the same one where she said that Charlie's grandmother died in her arms or somesuch.

it is possible to get pregnant with only one ovary? I had an ectopic pregnancy many years ago and had a fallopian tube and ovary removed and I got pregnant again, I miscarried but all the same it is still possible.

Yes it is possible I worded that last post wrong I should have posted she doesn't think she can have children (that's her words) but she doesn't know if it will happen naturally and even if she does she doesn't know if she can go full term.

Well it is Charlie talking here. When does she ever give a straight answer to anything?

'She doesn't think she can'. This means she has no idea.

A doctor said to me it is impossible for you to be pregnant. How wrong was he.
You absolutely don't know until you are in the process of trying.
If this convo on either side was for air time that is really bad form.

Was going to say this ^ Having an ovary removed wouldn't mean she can't carry to term either. It's a tough thing to deal with (I've been there) thinking you can't have children but the reality is no one knows if they can have children until they try and although she may have been told she might not be able to have children doesn't mean she can't and it is a bit creepy and a little patronising of Dexter to bring it up on national TV.

thanks Annie, I'm fine, I've comforted myself all these years that it just wasn't meant to be. I am lucky enough to have one child, many are not so lucky. x

These people don't know each other, not really, they know very little if anything of each others backgrounds, families, they aren't even in a relationship ffs.

He has definetly outweirded Callum with this one

he seems to have no barriers when it comes to other peoples personal space, the girl has said she doesnt fancy him and not only is he insinuating that she is lying, he is now talking about her medical issues in the context of being prepared to get her pregnant through a tube????
