2004 2006 2009 2007 2013 2008 2010 2003 2002 2001 2000 2011 2012 Basically, I really enjoyed the 2004 - 2006 rock (especially indie) wave, this year has actually been half-decent. The late noughties were OK and the teen pop phase was pretty awful, as were 2011/12. |

Defo not the last 2 years. Charts have been full of europop disguised as r'n'b.
2001 had some classics in my opinion. Roger Sanchez (Another Chance), Ian Van Dahl (Castles In The Sky), J-lo (Im Real remix), Aaliyah (More Than A Woman), Janet Jackson released some pretty good tunes that year to as did Dido. It was just a mixture of genres and now it seems to just be folksy rock or electro cheese. |
