What is your view on the 'celebration' of Valentines Day?

Are you the type of person that will go all out and buy the teddy with the love heart and the anonymous cards or do you ignore it?

Not a good day for me due to personal reasons, so we don't really celebrate it.

Sometimes we get each other a card but that's about it.

All jokes aside, I've never been bothered by it, I've never been going out with someone over Valentine's Day so I've never had any reason to 'celebrate' it and it doesn't really bother me seeing other people celebrating it because I'm usually busy anyway - this year I'll be at work and then at uni; last year I was in Latvia on a uni trip, the year before I was living in Germany and don't remember what I was doing...

Not a fan, the only way it should be acceptable is having a celebratory day for single people.

It's this that winds me up about Valentines Day. People just using the day as an excuse to show their partners that they love them instead of doing it all year anyway.

..we don't buy any of the Valentine's stuff for each other but we do try to spend time together that day.. (depending if there is any rugby on TV..but my OH did take me away once during the Six Nations and we watched it in the hotel so it was still lovely..)..
