I am pleased that another kind of discrimination against people who have done, and are doing nothing wrong, has been removed and that they have the equal opportunity to express their commitment to each other the way they wish to.

A good move and overdue too.

I think those saying it's "wrong" are completely disgusting. Why is it so wrong? This law is far too overdue.

@Ninastar - why shouldn't gays have rights? They are people just like you and I.

I find it absolutely appalling how anyone can say they don't deserve rights.

People in this thread are obviously taking the piss. And even if they're not, it would be their opinion (even though their opinion is wrong) I'm gay and I couldn't care less if someone didn't want me to marry.
