Default This forum gets childish when BB ends?

Well, am i the only one that seems to think the forum has got much more childish since BB7 has finished..? There have been loads of pointless threads with no substance, and people with one worded and pathetic arguments, there has also been an un-needed amount of slagging off which is pointless considering the programme has finished.. Is it always like this (it's my first BB here) or is it because new and more idiotic members have come (no im not being nasty just merely asking a question, and i aint implying anything mods!)

I agree with you about there being a lot more 'pointless' threads in the sense that they all pretty much ask the same thing, so you're having to repeat yourself a bit. I personally think the BB7 forum now should focus on what the housemates are doing at the moment, since we already know now who's won, who was evicted when, and so commenting on them constantly does get a bit tedious.

But the thing is though, no matter how much attention you draw to it, that's what a forum's about really; different types of people discussing whatever they feel like talking about in a certain topic.

Yes, but sometimes it turns into pure nastiness and hypocrisy aswell. There seem to be alot of new users that are creating thread after thread and poll after poll, i'm not someone who doesn't like new members, we were all new once, but i'd be just as annoyed if it was some who had been here for 3 years. I think it's fine if we discuss things that have happenned in the house, but it's stupid when we discuss things that have happenned already and have no connection whatsoever to something that has happenned recently. This is just my opinion, i'm not saying i'm going to shout at everyone who annoys me..

I believe its become more childish when it comes to arguing over which reality TV is the favourite.

No one here can really respect each other's opinions=

It tends to be less childish, well it has in the past anway.A lot of the more disruptive and childish posters seem to go away until the next bb starts or never come back.

I don't see much point in bringing up the stuff that has already been debated now that the show has ended and it should really focus on what the housemates are upto now.

I think disruptive is the wrong word, what i'm trying to emphasise is the fact that peoples postes aren't as well thought out or as intelligent as before, it just seems like a heap of mindless banter. Maybe because of some of the better posters have gone..

I agree entirely. I find myself wanting to post less and less each day.It does not suprise me one bit that Edwin raises this issue as he himself does make continuously valid and interesting posts on this forum.
