I wouldn't stick with a housemate if they did something crass. Liking someone you've seen on the telly for less than two weeks doesn't mean you're tied to them forever, whatever their faults. That would just make you look silly and blinkered.

She has gone way down in my estimation because I thought she was decent enough to keep her word to Chris not go telling others what she heard in the garden. If she thought there was a tiny chance she MIGHT tell others she should have told Chris that she couldn't promise not to say anything.
