Default The worst history of female evictees surely

After seven weeks we have only seen two males evicted and that includes the newbies and one of them was only evicted as all males were up. Surely this is the worst history of female evictees ever in such a short space. its absolutely ridiculous that now only three original girls remain and one of them is safe plus one new housemate. And all the knobhead fellas like Steven and Ash and to an extent Christopher are heading for the final. PLEASE PLEASE STOP this trend

Matthew was only evicted because of the all-males twist. Marlon's eviction wasn't even a public vote.

So basically, no man has 'truly' been evicted this series.

This, very sad feat since all of the females bar Tamara have delivered.

To be honest if Ash was up he'd likely go. If Steven was up he'd go.

Unfortunately the large group in the house have the numbers

Really good points. So it could have been likely even worse for the female housemates.

It's always been like this-most of the women are voted out before guys get evicted. I think women vote more than men and they like men, obviously, also, they like making up reasons why this male idiot or that male idiot is actually just "quiet" not "boring" or "confident" not "arrogant" "lively" not "an attention *****" "passionate/telling it like it is" not "aggressive" etc.

Judging by posts on here, and other BB related sites, the crowd reaction to women and the fact that the women are voted out so fast-one after another, I think women don't seem to have worked out double standards are meant to work in their favour and not against them; who got slaughtered over the close friendship between Tamara and winston? who became the favourite to win the show when Tamara got booted out?. There were cries of "girl code" when Kimberly was in the shower with winston, people were angry at Danielle in bed with winston but seemed fine with winston being in bed with danielle.

I think with VTS this year we would have an entirely different story and we would have a female filled house now. The problem has been (IMO) that the guys are all kinda easy going and the women have been REALLY strong characters (bar tamera who was just there). In vote to evict, especially with a load up, the strongest character leaves usually.

Yeah I agree with this.

Hira's eviction is probably the best example of this tbh. If it had been VTE Lisa would have probably gone. VTS generally gets rid of the bores and irrelevents - i.e. the men this series.

Biannca leaving in a vote to save suggests it wouldn't have been much different.

Maybe the smaller pool of potential voters has changed most of the results which would've been different a few years back?

Not really..it was pretty much a given that Zoe was staying, so the remaining vote was between pav and biannca (I imagine it was quite close too) so it was essentially vote to evict...dislike Bianca vote pav and vice versa

In a vote with 4/5+ up, the characters will generally stay with VTS. In VTE, the characters will go, even if they are popular. Check out BB11s quad for proof of that

So basically all the moaning people do about VTE and VTS means nothing because they're both the same and you need half the house up on VTS to make any difference.

Pretty much yeah. In 2/3 ways it makes not much difference at all

This year though, half the house has been up each time, so it would have changed the results quite a bit

Plus looking at the nominations the girls are nominating each other, so it doesn't help their cause.

Although Danielle didn't nominate any girls in there hmm

I do think Biannca shouldn't be used as proof that VTS doesn't save the strong characters because even though she was the strongest up she was SO offensive. There are still a lot of older viewers who would have been blown away by what she was doing tonight & some younger ones for that matter. There wasn't a lot likeable about her unless you wanted her to stay for her entertainment value but a lot of people wouldn't see past that because of how poorly she acted

Sexism?

There must be an equal number of evictees male/female and final lineups must be equal in genders regardless of personalities otherwise it's sexism?

As laughable as the cries about racism.

So true. Only female that deserved to be evicted at the time they got evicted imo was Tamara. :/

So what are you saying? that the females that have gone have been voted out due to sexism? and that we should have some kind of all male shortlist eviction to redress the balance? (we've already had that and that was disgusting and wrong)

If so you are mental.....who ever goes is down to being voted out (other than tonight) fairly.

I am perfectly sane thank you and a lot of people are agreeing with my post. I don't know why the women have been voted out but its a pattern that is happening nearly every year. Disgusting and arrogant men like Ash and Steven are still in there. I never mentioned the word sexism
