Playing in front of Ozil, Sanchez, Ramsey & Wilshere etc is a strikers dream.. Giroud could have 30+ league goals a season if he wasnt such a clumsy twat in front of goal so I think Welbeck will do alright, especially with his pace.

Stick Sturridge or Suarez in our side and they'd be on 30-40 goals a season.. Giroud is ridiculously clumsy and bad in front of goal at times. If Welbeck converts the chances Giroud misses then he's well on his way to being a 20+ goal a season striker for us.

Barring any injuries I think the only games Gerrard isn't going to play are the majority of the Capital One Cup and the early rounds of the FA Cup. The reason he retired from England was so that Rodgers didn't cap his league/CL appearances.
