I thought Ash was safe tonight he had the sense to choose a great song,as he did last week, forgetting the words last week was unforgivable , but tonight he did well and should have stayed.

Unforgiveable because if you are given a song to rehearse for a week and thats it and you mess up the lines then theres no excuses (don't say nerves I would be nervous up there but then its not my dream,my passion or hearts desire to perform to millions).
I liked Ash and he was not the worse tonight by a long way but he done himself no favours last week in forgetting the lines which did'nt help his case or confidence tonight. |

Well, They dont have a the support behind them. 4Sure were good but they didnt really stand out same with Dionne. Ashley -- Well he had a big support group (Or so it seemed). I put it down to people thinking he is to cocky and vecause he messed up his words last week.

no. he shouldnt have gone.
And yes, he may have forgotten his lines last week. but we all get a bit forgetful dont we? And lets face it they have a week to learn their songs and then they have to sing them live to millions of people nation wide. And also, evn the great bands like The Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart etc, have big autocue thiungs on stage nearly all the time to remind them of their lyrics. So, with all this in mind, i dont think fogetting his lines was the reason he went out. I think he was firstly put in the bottom 2 because he wasnt the best at Winner Takes It All. He is quite a unique singer and abba songs didnt suit his voice at all.Secondly i think he was voted out because Louis thinks he is too cocky. I dont think Louis liked him very much at all. I dont know why. i thought he was great at what he did. |

No i don't think thats the case because otherwise he would put Kerry through last week, based on the bottom 2 Robert was better, but neither should of been in the bottom 2.

Well yeah. theres that aswell. I cant help but blame simon a little for Ashley's departure. I feel if he hadnt have said 'Louis you have to keep Ashley in' then Ashley might still be in the competition.

I've been suprised each week by one of the bottom two.
I think Ashley's attitude may have been a factor in him going and the last couple of weeks he has not really been good.He had a unique but I've seen many people say they didn't like it and I'm not sure he had the mass appeal/sympathy vote to keep him in.Voting in these shows is not just down to ability anymore. |
