Funny you mention Japan, I have a weird fascination with Zen Buddhism and would love to go to a nice secluded mountainous temple and meditate overlooking the view.

I would have said Tibet too but I don't fancy being impaled on the end of a Chinese soldiers bayonet just to go see the sights.

I really wanted to go to Japan, specifically Tokyo, but after their country got fukushimad it doesn't seem as appealing.

I guess there are a few places in Canada I'd love to travel to, other than that I'm happy enough reading about different countries.

Thanks, I know it's safe, I still want to go there, it's just my desire is not as strong.

It would take me a year to save enough and so far I haven't been able to save a penny, well that's not true I do have a change jar that I save coins in but if I mange to start putting proper money away and it becomes more than a vague ambition, I will get in touch with sooty and ask her about places to see.
