Default Will we ever get another UK A-Lister from Big Brother?
So go back a few years, and Nikki Grahame, Chantelle Houghton and Jade Goody were practically UK A-Listers, and all had come from Big Brother theme. Nowadays, no housemates go onto any moderate success following their stint in the house. Everybody thought Helen would become a new 'A-Lister' in the magazines and such, but that has not happened.

What does everyone think? Do you think there's still a gap for these A-Listers to come from Big Brother? I think, personally, the magazines have become tired of following the less glamorous lifestlyes and are now interested in 'bigger the better', that's why in recent years there's been more focused put onto Kerry Katona, Coleen Rooney and the US imports like The Kardashians/Jenners.

The show doesn't rate as highly as it used to, so unfortunately I don't think there's a market for civilian BB contestants to get that famous anymore.

I don't think anyone past BB3 had a post-BB showbiz career that didn't just involve appearing on BOTS/BBLB.

Alison, Brian, Jade, Craig and Anna are really the only ones that did well in terms of a lasting career

Jade Goody (RIP ) and Brian Dowljng.

None of those you mentioned were A-Listers in my opinion. But yes, they were successful in terms of a post-BB media career (though I'd say Alison has been one of the most successful in terms of that with getting a long-running job on This Morning).
