Gemma Collins has reportedly signed up for the summer CBB, according to BBSPY.

The Only Way Is Essex’s Gemma Collins is reportedly due to appear on the next series of Celebrity Big Brother, following her disastrous appearance on I’m A Celebrity last year.

Gemma, who has appeared in ITV’s TOWIE and celebrity diving competition Splash!, lasted three days in the Australian jungle.

A source told The Mirror newspaper: “This is Gemma’s chance to put the dramas of I’m A Celebrity behind her and show people what she’s really capable of.

“Going into the jungle, Gemma wasn’t in the right state of mind. She had so much going on in her life and it all just got too much for her.

“But this time round everything is different. She’s happy and feels ready to get stuck into CBB. She wants the public to see the real her.”

The sixteenth series of Celebrity Big Brother may feature a ‘UK vs. USA’ theme. Americans linked to the new series include model Janice Dickinson and Lindsay Lohan’s mum Dina, while Brits include glamour girl Keeley Hazell.

The sixteenth series of the civilian version of Big Brother is due to start on Channel 5 soon.

Okay, fair enough her I'm A Celebrity stint was hilariously pathetic.. however I don't think it's fair to judge someone by their weight. She could be brilliant and hilarious in the house and that's what we need.. I'm sick of the fighting and conflict.. which will happen again no doubt considering the theme they're apparently going for.

It was vile back in November, when people on here and on Digital Spy were saying nasty remarks about her weight, and making puns, etc.

The dislike for her was very OTT, and unnecessary.

It really did come across like they were fatcist, and just used somebody's insecurities who they don't even know, just to make themselves feel better.

I'm hoping those people who are guilty of doing the above aren't the same people who criticize Hopkins for having her controversial opinions.

I didn't like her in I'm a Celeb but she's really entertaining in TOWIE, she could bring a lot to BB imo. It'd be good for people to get to know her personality rather than just focusing on her appearance.

I don't watch TOWIE.

She made me laugh a few times on IAC. Like when she said her poo was fluorescent neon yellow , but I was glad she walked, as the jungle clearly wasn't for her, and it saved us from having a serial trialist...till Kendra came along.

I don't see why she's disliked. I have no recollection of her being nasty or anything. It's either because she's overweight or from TOWIE. But then again, Joey Essex is loved, for god knows why, so I'm going with the former.

My thing about the sandwich hopefully isn't seen as a fat remark to her, I remember she said it at the point were she couldn't take it and left, and she asked for a ham swanwhich and a packet of crisps, something that stuck with me. Think she would be brilliant, CBB is more for her then IAC

Nope not yet although i read something about David Hasslehoff doing it somewhere but cant remember where and TBH i wouldnt mind him yes he is a bit annoying but he is a big name.
