Danny and Jack talking in the bedroom was 100% fake.
It was plain as day that they they had been told to talk about it. They simply aren't good enough actors to pull this off. |

I got that feeling with Nick, Joel and Danny in the bathroom too. When Eileen walked in they kind of snapped out of it. Something fishy

It's towie in a house.
Why is nobody spilling the beans though. Some of the unfairly evicted housemates should be telling us what is really going on. |

I'm not sure. If it were indeed contrived I would have thought Sarah or Harriet would have sold the story by now about its fakery. Maybe we're just over-analyzing it or because we've watched shows like TOWIE or The Hills where it's fake, we're thinking this is too?

The show has lost the trust of the viewers.

They're contracted not to reveal anything about the production after they come out, regardless of the circumstances that lead to them leaving. It wouldn't be worth their breach of their contracts because nobody would pay them enough for the info as nobody cares about BB anymore really

The point when it totally lost my trust was when I discovered that Rylan had been going off to rehearse the x-factor tour every day.
They tried to limit the damage by pretending that he was still on the same studio lot, just in a different building, but we know that was bull because of tweets from other members of the cast talking about seeing him. It dawned on me then that nothing was as it seemed. And it barely raised any surprise in me at all when I spotted the producers holding cue cards in the house on BOTS that time. |

Have you noticed there are no natural, trivial interactions any more.
Every scene is an intense conversation about a relevant topic with people all seated conveniently for the cameras. If you watch previous series then you can immediately see the difference. I have no doubt they are being directed. |

It's always been fake. But I don't think the producers are telling them what to say- they're just aware what'll likely get screentime.

remember at task time......a HM used to return from the diary room with instructions to read to the house.............costumes would be collected from the store room
now HM's just 'know' the instructions...........HM's seem to be dressed / made up by production so much for the house having no outside contact Mark L |

I've thought for a few series now that conversation is producer led in some situations

i would not say they are told to talk about things as that would go against what bb is about.
maybe because its uncomfortable. |

Thing is, it wouldn't be so bad if they just owned up to it and showed the context.
I remember back in BB1 they used to set discussion topics for the housemates to actually make sure they had some footage because they were just sitting round silent most of the time. Perhaps it is time to admit that the BB format, as it was, isn't sustainable any more. |

Then they should stop calling it big brother and taking people's voting money.
You see, if it is true that the conversations and actions in the house are being contrived by the producers then what exactly are people paying to vote for? Think about it. If a producer tells a housemate to be a villain and she is subsequently voted out as a result then the paying voters are being defrauded if they are led to believe that her actions are spontaneous. |

A couple of the convos have seemed fake already tonight.
The one where they were saying christian was trying to learn to be a lad from marc was arse-clenchingly contrived. Not sure I believe any of it any more. |

This is ****ing ludicrous.
Eileen suddenly says in the bedroom "So....it's two of the new housemates that can nominate and we don't know who they are." Then we see Simon nominating her. Then Jack suddenly pipes up in the bedroom. "Simon is a nice guy. He seems to get on very well with you eileen. You seem happier since he has been here." Totally contrived. The way they are starting convos is just too forced and unnatural. |
