Default Russell>>>>>>>Dermot

Russell - comic material and delivery.

Dermot - bland with a worn out puppy dog routine, for the last 6 years.

Anyone Agree/Disagree ?

Totally disagree

Dermot is a great presenter - he can talk to people at every level and aims his show at the younger age group based on the time it is shown.

Russel - well sorry just dont find him that funny ( I must be getting old)

Nah don't agree. As much as I laugh at Russell, Dermot is a good TV presenter and he works hard.

They've both got different styles of presenting, so I don't tend to compare them.
Dermot is a great and informative presenter, whilst Russell makes me laugh loads. I think it's because they also have different types of shows, therefore need to adopt different presenting skills.

Completely disagree.

I find Russell's "comic material" to consist of nothing more than knob and bollock jokes. He's actually quite irritating now, BBBM could do with a new presenter so Big Bro stuff is actually covered rather than half the show going to Russell's "hilarious" rants and over the top scenarios about his genitalia.

No!

I love Dermot! Hes so chirpy and lovely and genuine. Also hes Irish!

Russel is loud and talks about sex too much and gives me headaches! I do like Russel but I much much prefer Dermot.

Like John Lennon said...

.."If you go carrying pictures of Chairman Mao, you aint gonna make it with anyone, anyhow"...

Now I know 'sezer' is no Chairman Mao, but he's still offending enough to ignore anyone who shows his pic.

Im only bringing it up for the good of the forum.

Hmm wonderful explanation - but I think if you have nothing to bring to the topic then dont post at all or threads go off topic very quickly

Dermot is Ready for a Steady job on the BBC.

Russell is nothing Like him,
his Show is Adult and far better because it is Late night.
He is better Educated than Dermot, of course.

There are plenty of "Adult" shows on "Late night" (you have to pay a subscription for some!!), are all their presenters better than Dermot then??

I think they suit the shows that they are on.

Dermot's good at interviewing the members of the housemates families and then once the housemates are out he can give a more in depth interview with them.Russell is good a striking up a debate and keeping the audience entertained whilst giving them the chance of their view.

I could see Dermot successfully presenting here in the US, but Russel is too wild.
