Default 'I'm in 22 grands debt'
Actually agreed with Danny about this - 'every student is'.

Student debt isn't the same as regular debt. I'm in a lot of debt (due to my own stupidity, mind) and the pressure to pay it off is entirely different. Cristian hardly has bailiffs knocking on his door for his student loan back.

Jack has mentioned before that he's in debt because of his gambling problem.

He only said he was going to use the money to pay off his student loan. But he was happy for Jack, unlike the rest. Chloe was fuming.

I'm not disputing that, it was just a stupid excuse for having pressed the button, and he was looking for sympathy (which he doesn't deserve, imo as it's not like he's in proper debt)

Depends when he started. If you started prior to 2012 the 9k increase doesn't stand.

Also why is he in 22k debt? Did he quit after 2 years or find a cheap course?

And on that same note, Cristian would pay off his student loan with that 20+ grand?

No he ****ing wouldn't. A loan that you don't have to pay back until earning so much per year? A loan that gets wiped clean after so many years if it hasn't all been paid back?

No Cristian, terrible excuse.

Just admit you wanted a holiday and some nice spending money and shut up.

I know.If he gets a good job he can pay it off easily and barely notice it going every month and if he does'nt then he won't have to pay.Wtf would he just hand over Ł22k to the government that he might not even have to pay?
