It's basically a slasher film in game form. Out this week on PS4, it reminds me of Heavy Rain and Beyond so I'm quite interested in playing it.

You have the option to increase and decrese the lighting, 1st play through I kept it pitch black to amp up the atmosphere but I am on my 2nd now and I've lightened it up and the graphics are amazing, they didn't hide anything in the darkness.

I see an advert for this last night and it reminded me of Darkwood

Looks good but I'll probably wait for a price drop because it's not the type of game I'd usually go back to once I complete it, not sure I want to pay full price for it when other great games with more replay value are coming out around the same time.

I'd say it does have replay value, though. Its been said you're intended to play through it multiple times.

Yeah 'replay value' was totally the wrong term to use/not sure why I said that, I meant more along the lines of 'endgame content' like side quests/dungeons/grinding on RPGs, or online multiplayer. Just personal preference, I enjoy games which have more content to do on the same character once the story is over rather than replaying the story again. It's like how I was told I could redo The Walking Dead again and make different decisions to alter the outcome of events but in the end I couldn't really be bothered.

Oh I thought it was out Friday?

Either way I'm definitely getting it when it comes out. It's a PS4 exclusive, right? So glad I went with PS4 over XboxOne

UK Release is 28th. It's always like that with UK releases for some reason, they're always like 3 or 4 days later. Might be something to do with the console being different to international ones. I remember trying to buy a game only available in America once (it was for the Wii tho) and was advised not to because the disc would not play on a UK console.
