72. Ouch. From the reviews I reckon the game itself is probably an 80 but it's apparently also FULL of bugs . I guess maybe worth watching to see if they fix it with patches and if that improves the score. Avoiding for now. Sigh.

How did I manage to not post in here after actually playing? I got this pretty much on release after posting this, got the platinum, and loved it from start to finish .

Just for a historic note though; it did indeed need two hefty patches to sort the most glaring issues. It did have horrendous asset pop-in problems for the first few weeks.

OH and the other issue I forgot! It opened the map if you slightly brushed against the track pad and my thumb kept hitting it! I had a piece of cardboard bluetacked to my controller for the duration of my time with this game, then at some point I put this sort of fabric tape over it to make it look nicer, and then I put the tape all round the handles as well just because. It looked proppa post-apocalyptic, that controller

Yeah I was talking to a friend about that score and he isn't familiar with Metacritic, but basically anything below 80 for a video game means "really...not good." or "we're tired of this franchise now despite the game actually being fine" (not over that ME: Andromeda panning )

I mean to be fair Andromeda had some huge, glaring problems both technically and in pacing. I don't think it was a terrible game, it mainly suffered because the ME trilogy was so good that expectations were high. Same as Arkham Origins. In theory it's a decent game with a few issues. But in comparison to the rest of the Arkham series it's trash.

I've watched a few Days Gone reviews and it looks like it'll be a fun enough game, probably low-80's if "fixed", currently suffering from some major bugs and glitches. I'll probably get it when it's cheaper IF people are saying that it's been decently patched for the technical problems.

Apparently it currently has some hilarious bugs with object pop-in, but sometimes it's entire objects, like a rock suddenly appearing right in front of the motorbike when going full speed sending you cartwheeling into the distance

This is one of April's PS Plus games that will be available for a free download for all PS+ members the other two are the PS5 Oddworld game, and something called Zombie Army 4 or something like that

Does it have PS5 upgrades I wonder? To be fair it ran fine at the time but I remember some FPS drops in the big horde battles, wondering if it's had a 60fps facelift for PS5.

Not sure, but it's one of the games available for free for PS5 players isn't it? (among loads of other "PS4 classics" like God of War, Fallout 4... umm... idk that many others because I'm still in the PS4 boat sadly)

Unsure if those free games come with the PS5 upgrade (graphicswise) or not

Some just get an FPS boost automatically if they have unlocked framerates because the power to do so “is available” but there are a lot of PS4 games software-locked to 30. Most of the time it would be a really simple patch to unlock it, or lock it to 60, but some devs are lazy .
