So with the confirmation that the BB17 final will be aired at the end of July 2016 when do you guys reckon CBB18 will start?

IIRC there was a "confirmation" somewhere that there would only be days inbetween the series this year and not the 6 weeks gap like we had between BB16 and CBB16.

If Channel 5 are running scared of the Olympics then could we see a CBB18 launch in the week of 22-26 August or will they have masses of confidence in thinking CBB18 will be a success and have the BB17 final on 26 July (Day 50) and the launch of CBB18 on 28/29 July giving it a week worth of press and coverage before the Olympics begin on 5 August.

They better air it early August so the Olympics kills it... otherwise there was no reason for them to cut BBUK so short if CBB isnt starting until the 20th. Plus isnt the olympics not going to clash with BBUK? Surely because of time differences stuff like the opening ceremony doesnt have to be on at the same time? 0_o

I would much prefer civilian bb to be longer if I am honest. I blow hot and cold on Celeb BB even though I know many people prefer it

me too! and how typical when its the first time for 4 years they have some really good HM's - the olympics are not a big deal.

If they're ending it early because of the Olympics, they're certainly not going to restart the show in August during them. That wouldn't make sense.
