I just think he's totally bewildered by Charlie and also he's had enough, she's ruined his time so far in there , she's played a nasty game and never had any intentions of nomming him - she wanted to make everyone else do it for her cos that's what a nasty bitch she is. Can't wait to see Emma shred her.

I don't trust him at all- I feel there is something insincere and untrustworthy about him and I think he is playing a big game. To me he seems to be trying to manipulate the housemates and the audience into feeling sorry for him too much of the time.

I think Jason is a bit of a game player, but not to that extent. I know a few here have mentioned the same sentiment but I just don't see how that is attractive to the public, especially for a male to be playing a victim in such a constant manner? It's not an attractive narrative for a male I think? He's not super charming or outgoing like some of the other males. He doesn't really have a story. Even the "story" between him and Charlie is miniscule because there are really no details being given and it's lot of he said/she said **** which still gives us no idea how their relationship was even like. I like him but I don't see that putting forth a good vibe to the public. If he's playing a game to extent as you say, it's a very boring one.

Personally, I think at best he wants to walk out of this with at least his nuts still intact and to feel like he did well at least by his own effort(s)... I actually think he is really naive and I've met men who are very similar, very wooden and very incapable of explaining themselves and being themselves around challenging women. (or most women) I think I wrote once I thought maybe they came from a codependent relationship which would explain a lot.

Either way, definitely one of the more boring characters in there, even if I do quite like him.

But is that just some peoples perception, are there any tangible examples to back up the theory some people have that he's untrustworthy and insincere.....there's many examples that Charlie is and not just against Jason but I've seen anything that proves that Jason is.

Exactly, she's admitted to treating him dreadful the whole time they were seeing each other and to being a serial cheat , so she's used to being a good liar .Maybe Jayne could give her a job when they get out

I think you mean Charlie. She deliberatly antagonises Jason, acts as though he's said something awful to her (when he hasn't) and runs away crying. Thus making the housemates feel sorry for her and hopefully (in her deluded whackjob of a mind) make the public feel sorry for her.

If she goes on Friday she will be devastated to learn he nominated her while she didnt nominate him. That will be the first time he's been totally clear with her since they went in. She will need to be evicted to finally find out how over it really is. Yet people see him as the victim in the relationship.

I think it's even simpler than that. He's a man and she's an advertisement of his ability to love. Charlie's current state is the product of their love and therefore it's all Jason's fault that she is in such dire shape since it was his "doing" that left her there. Classic damsel in distress. I don't personally believe but many people are going to side-eye and wonder if he has failed his responsibilities and if there is a lot than what meets the eye... even though Charlie is not really his responsibility anymore. (he missed that memo though)

Charlie should've been told to own her baggage. Day 1. All that time he spends asking questions like Is it OK? Are you OK? Is that OK IF... when blah blah and blah when we get out etc etc, he digs a deeper hole to climb out of. Should've just been given her the hard truth upfront, explained his reasoning and then leave her be. The DR is plenty available for him to speak his part... it's not her business anyway how he feels anymore, but he keeps making his business her business every time he needs to be validated for his part in things. I'm guessing whatever relationship they had is in tatters now and what you see is what you get. Imo, it was likely very codependent and probably very toxic for the both of them after a while and the relationship itself stopped being tenable and illogical to continue while their heart(s) were still very much in it and had not yet reconciled with reality.

Charlie in her VT said she is very selfish in relationships so she's owned a lot of her portion with that admission as far as I'm concerned. All he had to do was say he was owning his, he was sorry and no I will not marry you and please it's over 100%, please move on... The fact she's a piece of work now after the fact can have nothing to do with him when he's owned 100% of his part and said to move on.

Many people neglect that last part in breakups which is where I think many people have messy breakups and squabbles before they're able to properly move on. I would argue he's done enough to cater to her but he is the one who is not able to let things go and as long as he's like that, she's going to hold onto every shred of it and treat it like there is still hope.
