Watching this Eat Well For Less? on BBC One, and they guy was shocked that the family were buying bottles of water.

I thought this was pretty standard thing, do you buy bottles of water?

We always have loads in the garage fridge.

Yes, we buy about 18 litres per week. We don't drink tap water at all.

They say tap water tastes funny but are poisoning themselves with these plastic bottles.

Not a problem
as our water bottles
are all recycled

Some zones in the UK
have bad tasting tap water.

I have one of those at my dads, but I prefer the taste of tap water than filtered.

I buy it when I'm working away but at home I drink tap water. I don't see the point in buying something you literally have on tap

we have filtered water via the fridge but the bottles are really convenient ngl

There's absolutely no need to be buying bottled water in the UK. It's so wasteful - for the environment and your pocket. Buy a refillable water bottle and refill it throughout the day.

I don't like the taste of the tap water here (hard water area) so I filter it. Bottled water is usually just filtered tap water anyway.
