There's a difference between Doctors winning an award for a created character and Eastenders giving an award to someone who's been a writer there for thirty years.

Even when Hollyoaks was actually decent it wasn't the best soap. Never has been, never will be.

It is snobby. Hollyoaks is seen as some joke but really it can be good as other soaps. Maybe not this year but to be fair every soap but Emmerdale is trash this year
