Default \'Big Brother: The Inside Story\' book by Narinder Kaur

Book written by BB2's Narinder released on 24th May 2007...

Video - http://www.meettheauthor.co.uk/bookbites/1425.html

Quote:
Synopsis

Never before have we had a candid account of what it's really like to be part of the cultural phenomenon that is "Big Brother". Now entering its seventh year, "Big Brother" is an annual event on British TV.

It generates a huge amount of press and shines a spotlight on the state of Britain today. But what do the producers really do? Have they got a hidden agenda? Do they edit to create characters? How do the media manipulate our opinions? Can they really make or break a star? And what so the contestants think? Do they feel used or do they relish the opportunity? What is life after the show like for them? Would they recommend it to others?

Narinder Kaur, a former "Big Brother" contestant, has travelled the country speaking with past contestants from all series as well as with TV producers and the media. Now, for the first time, we hear their thoughts, in their own words. This is the truth behind the reality.

Strange! only a couple of years ago I rad an Interview with Narinder and she said she wanted nothing more to do with Big Brother as she was fed up of only being known as "That girl who was on big brother"

Anyone else read Dean's book, 'Living in a Box' from a couple of years ago?

It was very good, full of Dean's wry humour.

Narinder's book isn't the first 'insider's' view of BB!

I have 'Living in a Box', but have never found the time to read it.

To be honest, I'd rather just forget BB2..............................

...decided not to buy it. It will probably be full of Big Brother-trashing rubbish. If anyone can tell me otherwise please do.

its a really good read, i read it in like 2 days, - It tells you the big brother pocess from getting the application form from the aftermath and all the crap that happens to ya, its 12.99 - which is a little steep - maybe 8.99 would have been better. But, i bought it anyway - i allways loved narinder, and i love her book, as well as narinders veiw it has loads of other peopel veiws and experiences, such as melanie Hill, Anna, lea, richard, victor, emma, sissy, brian, kate, (No jade good) - But the only bit of slagging of kate does is that, she was at the same audition as her and disliked her and hoped she didnt get in the house with her, Nothin extremly bad. - Well after the amount i hve told you about the book i doubt you have to buy the book - It is a really good read! - I would recommend it to any HUGE BB fan - i would give it 8.5/10 - EXCELLENT
