He was emotional that's all.
He wasn't at the point of actual crying, just getting close to it.

A world away from others in the past who have their heads in their hands pretending to be sobbing,then showing no tears.

Raph was totally different to them,this was just more upset than distraught.

If he knows what he's doing there should be a diary room visit letting the viewers 'in on it'. Eg Vic BB5.

If he's trying to manipulate the housemates and the viewers then he hasn't a clue what he's doing.
