That article basically says the same thing, but it also says “Channel 5 told Digital Spy there would be an update on negotiations in due course“, so I’m expecting them to tell us if it’s been axed or not fairly soon

I MEAN how long does it take for them to say YEZ or NO Xx

They will still be in talks. They've seen how a Celeb series has changed and they'd probably wait to see a bit of the civilian to see how it improves

The last celeb series had fking terrible ratings tho and iirc some of the worst ratings of any winter cbb series ever. It was talked abt for a bit on twitter because people were calling ginuwine a transphobic but that’s it. Considering how much they blabber on about how they don’t want Big brother I can see it getting axed owel

Survivor UK rated around 6m, which was more than BB at the time. Then again, in those days Corrie could pull in like 15m so anything below 10m for them would've been a flop.

celeb love Island (which featured a bb3 contestant) beat bb in the bb ratings BUT it was because it was on ITV....the main ITV channel. same with survivor was on a more commercial channel but bb still managed to get 10 million viewers! That's massive for channel 4. Those shows all got cancelled but bb is still on our screens 18 years on. The new Love island ratings are so overrated

True. Love Island gets 2 million and apparently it's a big hit. That's like a 1/3 of what Corrie gets
