Well im not surprised at who got saved but didn't expect him to be in the dance off. Glad she has gone for the sheer fact that it's less time we have to see Anton.

I'm actually Shocked Susannah was in the dance off ! Usually the terrible dancers are safe , I expected another Ruth and I thought she'd get to week 8 . Maybe people are tired of Anton and his stupid parody gimmicks, he doesn't even try to teach his partners anymore , it's always a mess .

I'm glad he didn't get a good dancer or he would of sabotaged their chances he's such a smug idiot . I'm glad for once the right decision was made .

phew i am relieved Lauren and Katie were saved then, i was furious at the judges slamming them, they are freaking beginners i am glad Lauren has the difficult charleston out of the way now, and she should take constructive criticism on board, and go to ballroom for movie week

i definitely prefer beginners to watch them become dancers

Joe has now lost both his showstoppers Jive & Charleston in the first 2 weeks i am curious if he can also bring that into the latin and ballroom technical precision dances

Lee in the dance off doesn't surprise me, he isn't likeable at all

Lauren charleston was decent, but it needed more attack.

Susannah doesn't come over that well overall, she appears miserable, unlike Ruth and even Ann Widdecombe who injected humour.
So she maybe didn't connect with the public.

She was the worst by a long way.
I voted to save Joe and Lauren,.already they, for not really dancing like this before, are showing promise and I like to support that.

If I could advise A J, I'd advise against too many lifts.
I felt there were too many in this short routine which hampered Lauren concentrating on more footwork.
The judges adored the lifts, they said, then moaning Darcy and Shirley marked them less than last week.
So clearly for AJs routines the lifts are meaningless to those 2 judges particularly.

I thought they were fierce on on the Paso pair too, unnecessarily so for only the 2nd week.

I thought they were fierce on Katie, unnecessarily for only the 2nd week.
yes i know AJ had good intentions of trying to make a spectacular charleston routine but what he did in the waltz keeping things simple and beautiful worked way better and got them a better score with the judges too

dances for movies week which could work, maybe foxtrot or VW which is a lot of in hold dancing, and then they can concentrate on the footwork technical tiny details

i Always knew Charleston would be a tricky dance for her, but i was glad i saw some really nice personality/character moments in the performance

and also the lifts weren't done that badly if you think of her one full arm/hand, so she did the best she could, and i forgive AJ since i am a big fan of him, his choreo's are amazing, outside the box and he has grown so much in the years he's a pro dancer on strictly

I thought the lifts were amazing A J is a master of lifts routines and Lauren engaged in them superbly.

I think A J plans the best routines on Strictly but gets little recognition from particularly Darcy and Shirley.
It was the same last year too.

For the lifts and the amazing effort of doing them so well by Lauren,.it was staggering to see reduced votes from last week by Darcy and Shirley.
No one presented such an exciting set of lifts as A J and Lauren did last night.

Shirley's head Judge title is getting too big for her and Darcey's dame title has grown to her head, not that she doesn't deserve that title for her amazing ballerina career, but still if you like those lifts give it a decent score then
