From the past.
I'd have to choose my Dad's political hero. Michael Heseltine. Of the current crop. Which yet may happen. Conservative Rory Stewart. Labour Dan Jarvis. I am surprised at the low profile Dan Jarvis has occupied in the Labour Party. Rory Stewart, for the Conservative Party, I still can see as a fair bet for the future. I'm going to surprise Joey and say John Smith. He would have been a great PM. He was a big loss to the labour party

However again, looking back at his time. I'd have preferred him to Blair. He seemed to have from what I've seen in clips. A welcoming manner and looked and sounded competent. With him too, there'd have been none of the NEW Labour tripe. |
