The new home secretary, Priti Patel, is facing allegations of breaching the ministerial code for the second time in her parliamentary career for accepting a lucrative position with a global communications firm before receiving the all-clear from an anti-corruption watchdog.

That literally makes no sense. Instead of being desperate to one-up me that you post any old **** to get some guffaws from LT, try and put some thought into what you are saying first.

Whataboutism is the act of responding to something with a 'what about' line of thought that tries to condone what is happening by making out that the other side is guilty of the same thing. It's about avoidance and deflection and I am doing none of that when it comes to Priti Patel since, if you actually read the thread, you'd know I'm against her and if I used whataboutism at all in this thread, the only applicable use would be to defend her.

The reason for the GOP line is because their mindset is rapidly becoming the Right Wing mindset as a whole, who cares what your side is doing wrong just as long as they're sticking it to the left? You see it from the right in politics and it's all over Serious Debates as well.

Now that I've explained some basic concepts that should have been obvious to you, do better.
