Footballers have been massive contributors to the NHS during this pandemic, and now they're fighting for the poor children of the country. Exactly, I’ve seen people praising his actions on fb (which they should) however I know for a fact some of them voted in favour of child poverty less then 6 months ago.

Honestly I think free school meals should be all year round.

It's not like parents are any better off, or more able/inclined to cook when the schools are closed.

Indeed a lot of parents are worse off during school holidays due to the cost of childcare if they are working or just having higher shopping bills.due to them not being at school.
