not that i defend white people, given their hardcore right wing also are unacceptable with their toxic behaviour what i notice in BLM related videos on youtube, how they are too rude, nasty, vile at opposition

If you watched it or a clip, it's abundantly clear that the "we do" is tongue in cheek.

Actually, to add to that, can I point out that she's making a joke to Frankie Boyle who is laughing along with her. I don't know if you've noticed, but Frankie is actually a big ruddy faced white bloke .

hope this is towards Dailyfail, not me since i am far from PC myself


but jokes about killing people is not what i myself like (i am overall not a huge fan of stand up comedy, jokes either find them far too hardcore for my liking)

Eh, I'd need to see a comedian make such a joke and measure the outrage to be sure of a double standard.

That said, the bloke who Obama hired to do his presidential portrait had previously painted black people brandishing the severed heads of white people - can you imagine if Trump hires a portrait artist with similarly violent racist works? But then, Obama's choice did get backlash, so maybe there isn't a double standard after all.

Gervais is also a believer in the Punch up vs punch down theory. When you make the same remarks about the same minorities day after day, then it stops becoming playful satire (if it ever was), and offers a view of an individuals actual opinions, masked under the guise of being subversive.
