Default Should England/UK host 2030 World Cup?
Gathering it will be 100 years since the 1st World Cup was held on that year. As the birthplace of Football and the last time they hosted was 1966, it would be about time in my opinion.

If it's not England/UK, then it should definitely be Uruguay as they were the first country to host the competition.

If England/UK get to host in 2030, I will be rooting for them to win.

Only then will the phrase "Football is coming home" mean something (a WC win as the hosts).

This includes Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and I guess Ireland as well (even though they are not part of the UK) as nation's to root for, if England fail to do it.

Personally I would love for the UK to have it, also places like Finland and Iceland would be cool (pun intended) to host the World Cup for a change of scenery from the usual hot climates, but also isn't supporting a corrupt Government like in 2018.

Wouldn’t mind hosting it so long as we don’t have a similar scenario when Brazil hosted it in 2014.

I can't imagine Uruguay having the infrastructure or stadiums to host it nowadays, but then I know little about the country. If it were to go to South America I'd rather it were Argentina or Colombia.
