Sam Terry MP Shadow Transport Minister
he was on the Picket Line in Euston.

He is now just an MP.

He was Live on AM TV news and AM Radio

Starmer is showing that he goes against everything Labour is supposed to stand for, he needs to be replaced, a Tory is still a Tory, no matter what colour they wear

Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has sacked his junior shadow transport minister who joined striking rail workers on a picket line.

Ilford South MP Sam Tarry attended the protest at London's Euston station despite Sir Keir saying his frontbench MPs should stay away.

Speaking to reporters, Mr Tarry said "any Labour MP" would have "absolute solidarity with striking workers".

Labour said he had been fired for making unauthorised media appearances.

this is only the first real strike too, there are going to be a lot more. I can see a major revolt happening in the labour party too because Starmer has dug himself a hole it's going to be hard to get out of

Sadly that does seem the road we are going on.
It may well bring electoral success but it's a concern to myself and a great number of members.

We haven't however inflicted 4 different Prime Minister's on the UK in only in the last 6 years from Cameron to whoever becomes PM now.
That chaos is hardly stabilising or competent.

I'd like to.hope Starmer will reflect on this decision.

There were you know a fair number of Labour members hoping Starmer may get fined after the investigation.
So that he'd resign.

For as long as he has the position over the Cons he has at present.
In the main from now, the vast majority of the Party will fall in line, many reluctantly, behind him.

starmer has scored a lot of own goals during his time as leader, i can't remember another labour leader that was quite that bad

Generally Labour sticks with its leaders no matter how bad they are.

Corbyn was an exception where from day one of his election there were growing numbers in movements to get him out.
Labour party members however much more solidly backed Corbyn.
Hence he got his chance to fight 2 elections.

Starmer won't be moved by Labour until after the next election which if he does badly will likely see him resign anyway.

No leader of Labour has not gone on to fight at least one general election.
Except John Smith, a potentially great Prime Minister who was cruelly taken from life before an election was held.

The other thing is, this action unfortunately won't much affect the support the Party now has and in fact COULD bring back other voters long lost since 2001.

For me this is wrong of Starmer.
He should not have stated he did not want Cabinet members to join picket lines.
He should have left it to those individuals to decide.

This action today has me as a member in dismay.
Then Starmer was never my choice of leader.
Totally wrong of him in my view

It just shows the fickelness of labour politicians.

They have no real conviction if they back starmer whilst secretly thinking hes not the man to lead their party.

Have the balls to say it how it is, like their supporters do.

I'd say there is fickleness in ALL UK wide Parties.
The Cons on their NOW 3rd attempt in only 6 years are going to end up with a leader most don't really want.

After all their ballots, Sunak got a bit over a third ONLY of the MPs votes.
Truss got even LESS than a third.

Such sadly is the present state of politics in the UK.

It's not just one Party's MPs who can be and are fickle.

I wouldn't go so far as to call him a Tory, but sacking someone for supporting the unions isn't a good look for a Labour leader.

He's likely no different to Blair really.
However I'd see going back to Blair's time as leader is disappointing for me.
Although it seems to be a winning formula.

I'll still support Labour because I want a better policymaking for the most vulnerable, sick and disabled.
Which will never come from the present Con heartless policymaking.

Politics is in a desperately bad place.
