Strictly Come Dancing is back! Join Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman alongside judges Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse as 15 brand new celebrities are welcomed to the Strictly ballroom.

Back with a bang are our professional dancers, with three epic routines that include a group number with our new cast and a not-to-be-missed performance featuring all four of the Strictly Come Dancing judges.

Current Strictly champions Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystał make a triumphant return, and the amazing Jessie Ware will perform one of her biggest hits in the ballroom.

Who will the new celebrities be paired with, and can they dance? We’ll find out on the launch of Strictly Come Dancing 2023!

great launch show, good fun, lovely heartwarming tribute to Len


now as for the pairings

the males

Adam & Luba: think Luba this time has a good one compared to James and Jason, also lols at Adam's wife being a dance teacher, the pressure of that

Bobby & Dianne: first of all height wise a complete mismatch, combined with Dianne's too basic choreo's, would've more loved Nadiya for him i think

Eddie & Karen: he has a good one in her, whom also slayed with other comedy contestants like Chris, Dave and had a knockout streetdance with Charles

Jody & Jowita: i like to be surprised here, same as last year with Hamza, hope he can combine strictly and 2024 paralympics training well enough though

Krishnan & Lauren: not sure about him, am happy for Lauren she has her first partner (even though that is more because of Amy being unwell) but am curious what she can bring to the table choreo wise

Layton & Nikita: did not expect he got Nikita, also personality wise he's so annoying

Les & Nancy: don't underestimate him, especially with a very skilled and innovative choreographer like Nancy

Nigel & Katya: finalist material on paper yup, he also comes across like such a normal down to earth guy, must consider himself lucky to be in the hands of one of strictly's best choreographers/dancers

Amanda & Giovanni: am expecting good things here, Gio is a superb dancer, Amanda herself can bring all of her 30 years of acting experience to the table

Angela R & Kai: seems like a lovely partnership already! and Angie looks so FIT, indeed look at those legs, whew good figure for 79

Angela S & Carlos: am really curious what he can do now with a non-ringer, this is his first real test i think

Annabel & Johannes: gonna be the surprise of the year me thinks and omg that lift in the group dance of hers, how brave

Ellie & Vito: same with Carlos, also curious how he'll do with a non-ringer this time around

Nikita & Gorka: she seems so much fun, so youthful, a true firecracker, has a good teacher in Gorka for sure

Zara & Graziano: gonna be a fun pairing too i think, lovely for the many tiktoks, also came across so nice, normal unlike most other LI contestants whom are too full of themselves
