Default I don\'t think its a fix, but..

Does anyone else find it a bit odd that the first week Charley is up they mess around with nominations so she isnt, the next week Charley is up its 'fake week'.
I know they decided Fake Week before hand but they obviously knew Charley would be up.
Then its reported in the papers (which I know not to believe but still) that Davina is told to tell the crowd to chant Keep Charley In.

Now i'm not as much of a Charley hater as I used to be, and I do want her to stay a few more weeks, but all this stuff is just wrong.

I have never wanted BB to fix it so my faves stay for example Grace and Nikki, if they go they go.
I hope Charley fans dont just go 'no its not strange its fine' just because they like her, because anyone can see something is happening.

Next week we'll see what BB has up his sleeve to keep Charley in. If nothing happens and she goes gracefully up for eviction then I'll shut up.

saying bb is a "fix" is a taboo thing to do round here but call it what you will the game is weighted in certain housemates favours....... Charley, Liam and the twins have got no worries about being evicted in a hurry because endemol wont allow it.

I guess we should just evict Charley, Nicky, Chanelle, and Carole, and just watch the snooze fest for the last four weeks. That will be fun

Every year there is always rumours of fixes and how they punish some housemates and not others but its just the way it goes. We all know big brother can change things so it suits them and editing things so Charley stays a while longer is easier for them to do rather than thinking of new ways to keep viewing figures up. Whether you like or dislike Charley she has kept the show entertaining and going otherwise it would be really dull.

Like i've said in hundreds of threads, people find different things entertained.

I'm not entertained by someone I really dislike, so you cant say 'whether you like or dislike her she has the kept the show entertaining' because people find different things entertaining.

Or maybe HM nominate her and then BB save her because she broke the rules.

Charley nominated - votes counted, she's not evicted.
Everyone wonders why....... she was a dead cert to go

Bookies go ape...suspect dodgy dealings

4 or 5 months down the line we find her votes weren't counted due to a strange and totally co-incidental "software" error.

Less obvious than saving her by "punishment".

I should send my CV to £ndemol, can't be much competition with the chimps they have working there now

There's a lot of manipulation on bbs part to keep charley in which to me makes it fixed. It's sort of like saying you aren't lying but being "economical with the truth". I don't care if it's taboo to say it or not, it is what it is.

Charley needs to go for being a horrible person. I don't think she deserves to get far off the back of her horrible behaviour. What's so entertaining about her anyway? She argues... So what

I can see what you mean Chris BUT she did annoy a good few hopusemates this week so maybe some housemates might have nominated her thi sweek that might not have previous weeks reasons such as numbers are going down and its harder to choose. My feelings will be if she goes out on Friday and does the interview some housemates might not nominate her in previous weeks because it might be a fake eviction again therefore keeping her in longer then she might have done.

I wouldnt call it a fix... more like directing a good tv show.
If you have a soap... and there is a popular character, they dont go and kill them off because then they lose all the viewers.

Its just being smart really.. if they let it go on without any tampering, think of the mess they would be in!
Im suprised they didnt step in for seany though!

Ah, but it's unfair on the other housemates facing the chop, don't you think?

I think the last thing on bb's mind is how they are upsetting housemates. If there are no good ratings, there will be no housemates too upset.

As much as this displeases you its "Fix's" like these that keep the show alive too the public, who dont read bb boards like us.

Oh don't get me wrong - anything that keeps Charley in that House is a good thing IMO. I genuinely think that the minute she's gone, the entertainment value of BB plummets.

It’s pretty desperate. Other bbs managed to be entertaining without so many twists and fixes. It really shows how low bb has sank that they will do anything to keep the argumentative housemate in.

I think next time they should perhaps try and get some interesting housemates, could be an idea! Then, they won’t have to keep ripping the public off with stupid fake evictions and excuses.
