| The Italian Job |

I'm so excited! I'm going to get a map and walk into town My hotel isn't far from the centre. When it gets dark I'll get the underground. My favorite area is The Foro. Such a fascinating place with so much history!

i love Rome, but i did it in the days before sat nav and got totally lost on several occasions . Some of the squares are enormous and if you go in the wrong direction, you can be there all day | |||

But Rome is big, so if I want to see some other areas I'll need the underground.

Have a great time, Ness. I was supposed to be going to Geneva once (about 15 years ago now) and I’ve talked about it here-and-there with a buddy who lived in Italy for years but it’s materialised. So naturally I’m well-je’l. of anyone who does go. I hope you love it. Have a giant plate of pasta on me.
